Ingredients

  • 2 lb. top sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until thick and combined.
  2. Place the steak in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and ensure the steak is fully covered.
  3. Let the steak marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Before grilling, bring the steak to room temperature by taking it out of the refrigerator 30 minutes prior.
  5. Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
