Flank Steak Marinade

The marinade

The steak
Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a resealable bag and shake to mix.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade for later use.
- Stir in the chopped garlic into the marinade.
- Add the flank steak to the marinade and let it marinate for 2 to 24 hours.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Grill the steak for 5-6 minutes on each side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill, cover with foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain and drizzle with reserved marinade before serving.
