Ingredients

The pasta

  • 12-16 oz spaghetti
  • 3 cups water

The vegetables and herbs

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ cup fresh basil
  • 6 cloves garlic

The sauce

  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup olive oil

The cheese

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese or vegan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large baking dish, layer uncooked spaghetti, mushrooms, basil, pasta sauce, mashed garlic, Italian seasoning, olive oil, and water.
  3. Use tongs to toss everything together to prevent the spaghetti from sticking.
  4. Sprinkle the top with cheese.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve.
