Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter

The sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt two tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through, then remove from the skillet.
  4. Add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the white wine and cook for 3-4 minutes until reduced by half.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Add parmesan cheese, parsley, and spinach, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
