Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Lightly grease a 9x13-inch pan.
- In a large bowl, cut the butter into the cake mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot crust and drop frosting by tablespoonfuls over the chocolate chips.
- Mix the remaining cake mix and butter mixture with the milk and stir to combine.
- Drop this batter by teaspoonfuls over the frosting.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely, cut into squares, and refrigerate until served.
