Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish with aluminum foil and butter.
- Whisk the eggs until frothy, then mix in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add the vanilla, sift in the cocoa and flour, and stir in the melted butter until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Cool the brownies completely on a wire rack.
- For the topping, combine evaporated milk, egg yolks, brown sugar, and butter in a saucepan and cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, coconut, and pecans, then let cool.
- Spread the topping over the cooled brownies and chill before cutting into squares.
