Ingredients

The brownie

  • 140 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 35 g all-purpose flour

The butter cake

  • 120 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 g baking powder
  • 50 ml fresh milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, then stir in brown sugar.
  3. Mix in the egg and fold in the flour until smooth, then bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then add eggs one at a time.
  5. Fold in the flour and baking powder, alternating with milk until smooth.
  6. Spread the butter cake batter over the brownie layer and bake for 25-30 minutes.
