Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 120 g salted butter
  • 1 tasse strong coffee
  • 80 g superfine sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites.
  3. Beat the yolks with the sugar until well combined.
  4. Melt the butter and chocolate together with the coffee.
  5. Fold the chocolate mixture into the yolk mixture.
  6. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into a buttered and floured springform pan.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes, until the center is still slightly liquid.
  9. Let the cake cool before serving.
