Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 10-inch tube pan.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in the milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the batter, mixing until just combined.
- For the streusel, mix the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and butter until crumbly.
- Spoon half of the cake batter into the pan, then sprinkle with three-quarters of the streusel.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining streusel.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until a cake tester comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool on a wire rack for about 30 minutes before transferring to a serving plate.
- Drizzle with your favorite glaze if desired.
