Cake

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • teaspoons baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • cups cane sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cups whole milk Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the filling by mixing brown sugar, cane sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, cane sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl, then adding butter and mixing until crumbly.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt for the cake.
  5. Cream the butter in a stand mixer, then add sugar and mix. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and mix in vanilla.
  6. Alternately mix in the dry ingredients and Greek yogurt, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Spread half the batter in the prepared pan, sprinkle with the filling, then dollop the remaining batter on top and smooth it out.
  8. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the batter.
  9. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
