Ingredients

The pork

  • 1 lb Pork Tenderloin (about 1-1½ lb)

The seasoning

  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon White pepper

The cooking oil

  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil (canola, vegetable oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the pork with salt, thyme, and white pepper.
  3. Combine the creole seasoning, thyme, and white pepper, and sprinkle it evenly over the pork tenderloin.
  4. In a large skillet or cast iron, heat the oil over medium heat until hot, then add the pork.
  5. Brown the pork for about 5-6 minutes, rotating to brown all sides.
  6. Remove the pork from the skillet and transfer it to a roast rack.
  7. Place the pork in the oven and roast uncovered for about 13-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Cook until the thickest part of the meat registers 140°F to 145°F.
  9. Transfer the loin to a cutting board and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
