Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Blend the pitted dates in a food processor until they form small bits or a ball.
- Add warm water to the blended dates and blend until a sticky paste forms.
- Mix in peanut butter, melted coconut oil, and cacao powder until a thick batter forms.
- Optionally, add chocolate chips and walnuts and pulse to combine.
- Transfer the batter to the lined loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 15 minutes until the edges are slightly dry.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out using the parchment paper and cool for an additional 20 minutes before slicing.
