Ingredients

The dip

  • 10 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • ¼ cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice blend
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 small-to-medium garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 10 twists freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoon red pepper flakes

For serving

  • to taste crusty sourdough, crostini, or toasted pita wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and place a rack in the upper third.
  2. In a food processor, blend the goat cheese, cream cheese, pumpkin purée, honey, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a small baking dish, drizzle with honey, and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
