Baked Goat Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Bona Furtuna Olive Oil
  • 1 large white onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup goat cheese
  • 1 loaf bread of choice
  • olive oil to taste
  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • a handful fresh chopped oregano and basil
  • 3 tbsp Bona Furtuna Grand Cru Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small square baking dish, combine olive oil, onions, garlic, tomatoes, goat cheese, oregano, pepper, and chili flakes.
  3. Bake for 50 minutes until bubbly and the goat cheese is golden.
  4. While baking, slice the bread, coat with olive oil, and brush with fresh garlic.
  5. Bake the bread on a separate parchment-lined baking sheet for 5 minutes on each side after the dip has been in the oven for 40 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp of olive oil with chopped oregano and basil.
  7. Serve the oil over the dip with a drizzle of honey and enjoy with the bread.
