Ingredients

The dip

  • 10 ounces goat cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 small-to-medium garlic clove
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 10 twists freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoon red pepper flakes

For serving

  • as desired crusty sourdough or crostini or toasted pita wedges
  • as desired berries
  • as desired olives or tapenade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F with a rack in the upper third.
  2. In a food processor, blend goat cheese, cream cheese, 1 tablespoon honey, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until whipped.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a small oven-safe baking dish and drizzle with 1 teaspoon of honey.
  5. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes, drizzle with more honey, and serve.
