Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
- In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and molasses.
- Pour the melted butter over the sugars and whisk to combine.
- Add the egg and whisk again until incorporated.
- Mix in the baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add the flour and use a spatula to incorporate until a thick dough forms.
- Press the dough into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 22-24 minutes until puffed and set.
- Let cool for about an hour before cutting into squares or rectangles.
