Crispy Air Fryer Hash Browns

Ingredients

The hash browns

  • 2 – 2 1/2 pounds russet potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Optional toppings

  • ¼ cup chopped red peppers
  • ¼ cup chopped green peppers
  • ¼ cup chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Grate the potatoes using the largest holes of a cheese grater.
  2. Soak the grated potatoes in a bowl of cold water for 20-25 minutes.
  3. Drain and dry the potatoes completely using a paper towel.
  4. In a dry bowl, combine the potatoes with garlic, paprika, olive oil, and salt and pepper.
  5. Add the potatoes to the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
  6. After 10 minutes, shake the air fryer and add the chopped peppers and onions.
  7. Cook for an additional 10 minutes until crispy.
  8. Cool before serving.
