Instructions
- Peel the potatoes if desired and shred them using a cheese grater or food processor.
- Rinse the shredded potatoes in a colander until the water runs clear, then let them drain.
- Squeeze out excess water from the potatoes using your hands or a clean towel.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of cooking oil, spreading it across the surface.
- Add about 1/3 of the shredded potatoes in a thin layer and let them fry undisturbed until golden brown (3-5 minutes).
- Season the potatoes lightly with seasoning salt, then flip them and drizzle with more oil if needed.
- Cook the second side until golden brown and crispy, flipping again if necessary for desired crispiness.
- Repeat the process with the remaining potatoes and serve hot.
