Instructions
- Scrub and grate the potatoes, then rinse until the water runs clear.
- Drain and dry the grated potatoes using a tea towel or paper towels.
- Toss the dried potatoes with salt, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Spread the potatoes in an even layer in the skillet and press down.
- Cook undisturbed for 2 minutes, then stir and press down again.
- Repeat stirring and pressing every 2 minutes until golden brown and crispy, about 8 to 12 minutes total.
- Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Season with additional salt if needed and serve hot.
