Instructions
- 1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the fettuccine for 7-10 minutes until tender, then drain.
- 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat, and mince the garlic.
- 3. Rinse the shrimp under cool water, then add to the skillet with garlic, sautéing until shrimp turns opaque and pink.
- 4. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- 5. Add diced tomatoes, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the skillet, stirring to combine and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 6. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
- 7. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and mix well with the pasta.
- 8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
