Homemade Wheat Thins

Earth Balance or butter

For sprinkling

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or a non-stick mat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, paprika, and salt.
- Cut in the Earth Balance or butter until the mixture is crumbly.
- Mix the water and vanilla together, then add to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
- Divide the dough in half and roll out one half on a floured surface to about 1/16th inch thick.
- Cut the rolled dough into desired shapes and place on the prepared baking sheets.
- Sprinkle with extra salt and sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through to ensure even baking.
- Allow the crackers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
