The breading

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

The cooking oil

  • cooking oil (olive oil recommended)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry and drizzle with buttermilk, then marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
  2. Combine flour, chicken seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring full coverage.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil and add the chicken wings without overcrowding.
  5. Spray the chicken wings with cooking oil and cook at 400°F for 20 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes.
  6. Check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F, and cook longer if desired for crispiness.
  7. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it cool before serving.
