Ingredients

Dough

  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rapid-rise yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Filling

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

Glaze

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ - 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in a stand mixer bowl.
  2. Add flour, sugar, yeast, and salt, then mix until a firm ball forms.
  3. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap for 30 minutes.
  4. Mix butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  5. Roll the dough into a 12-inch rectangle and spread the filling over it.
  6. Roll the dough from the long side into a log and cut it into 8 rounds.
  7. Place the rounds in a greased pan that fits your air fryer and let them rise for another 35 minutes.
  8. Preheat the air fryer to 325°F and cook the rolls for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the rolls sit in the air fryer for 5 minutes after cooking.
  10. Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
