Easy French Toast Casserole

Instructions
- Combine all pecan streusel ingredients in a large bowl and mix until they resemble wet sand-like chunks. Refrigerate until needed.
- Butter a 9×13 baking dish.
- Add the bread cubes to the buttered baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla until well blended.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, tossing to coat. It's okay if the bread looks a little wet.
- Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Sprinkle the chilled pecan streusel over the bread mixture.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Check at 40 minutes and cover with foil if too brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with maple syrup.
