Instructions
- 1. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and place torn or cubed French bread in the pan.
- 2. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla, then pour over the bread and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- 3. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles sand.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 350°F, remove the casserole from the refrigerator, and sprinkle the crumb mixture on top.
- 5. Bake for 45-55 minutes until set and golden brown, then serve warm with maple syrup.
