Instructions
- Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter and tear the bread into 1-inch pieces, placing them in the dish.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl, then pour the mixture over the bread.
- Press the bread into the liquid until saturated and let it sit for at least 10 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and mix the topping ingredients together, sprinkling it over the French toast.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is crisp and the inside is set but moist. Serve with toppings.
