Instructions
- Grease a 13-inch by 9-inch baking dish and arrange the bread slices in a single layer.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugars, vanilla, salt, milk, and cream.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, turning the slices to coat, then cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Uncover the French toast and flip the slices to coat again.
- Mix the flour, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a bowl to make the topping.
- Sprinkle the topping over the bread and bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
