Instructions
- Slice the sourdough bread into thick slices and set aside.
- In a bowl or casserole dish, whisk together the eggs, half and half, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, ensuring it covers the bottom of the pan.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a couple of minutes.
- Transfer the soaked bread slices to the heated skillet and cook for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the slices and cook the other side until golden brown as well.
- Repeat the process until all bread slices are cooked, adding more butter as needed.
- Serve warm with fresh berries and maple syrup.
