Instructions
- Make the cinnamon sugar topping by combining brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, and maple syrup in a bowl.
- Submerge each slice of bread in the egg mixture for around 1 minute to soak.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium/low heat.
- Add 1/3 of the soaked bread slices to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the slices, increase the heat to medium, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on each slice before removing from the pan and caramelize for 20 seconds on each side.
- Wipe the pan and repeat the cooking process for the remaining slices.
- Serve and enjoy!
