Instructions
- Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl to make the cinnamon sugar topping and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and maple syrup.
- Slice the thick-cut bread into sticks.
- Submerge the bread sticks in the egg mixture, letting them soak for about a minute.
- Heat butter in a nonstick skillet over medium/low heat.
- Cook the bread sticks in batches until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on both sides of the sticks and cook for an additional 20 seconds on each side.
- Repeat the cooking process until all sticks are done.
