Creamy Pasta and Peas

Ingredients

The pasta

  • 12 ounces your favorite pasta

The sauce

  • 1 cup vegan Alfredo sauce

The veggies

  • 1-2 cups frozen peas

Optional additions

  • vegan Parmesan cheese
  • extra protein of choice
  • extra veggies of choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  2. Add frozen peas to the bottom of a pasta strainer.
  3. When the pasta is done, pour the hot pasta water over the peas in the strainer.
  4. Reserve a little pasta water to thin out the sauce if necessary.
  5. Return the pasta and peas to the pot.
  6. Add the Alfredo sauce to the pot and mix well.
  7. Add a drizzle of reserved pasta water to thin out the mixture if needed.
  8. Add any optional ingredients like Parmesan or extra veggies, mix, and serve.
