Asian Pork Belly Sliders

Ingredients

The sliders

  • 1 pound Pork Belly, sliced ¼" thick
  • 4 pieces Slider Buns

The marinade

  • ¾ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ½ Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup Orange Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Chili Garlic Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, pressed or smashed and finely minced
  • 1 1 inch piece Ginger, finely grated
  • 2 pieces Scallions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the marinade ingredients in a bowl or jar.
  2. Place the pork belly in a sealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Marinate for 2 hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill pan to medium heat and brush with oil.
  4. Cook the pork belly for about 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.
  5. Assemble the sliders with pork belly and desired toppings such as mayo or slaw.
