Pork and Bacon Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly-ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable or canola oil
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and cut in half
  • 10–12 slider buns or small rolls
  • to taste lettuce or spinach
  • to taste sliced tomatoes
  • to taste sliced cheddar cheese
  • to taste sliced white onions

Instructions

  1. 1. Season the ground pork with salt and pepper, divide into 8 portions, and shape into patties.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until done.
  3. 3. Toast the buns in the skillet until slightly brown and crispy.
  4. 4. Assemble the sliders by layering lettuce, onions, cheese, tomatoes, bacon, and the pork patties on the bottom halves of the buns, then top with the other half and secure with a toothpick.
