Bacon Cheddar Sliders with BBQ Bacon Remoulade

Ingredients

The sliders

  • ¾ pound prime ground beef
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese
  • 12 mini burger buns
  • to taste cooked bacon
  • ½ cup sliced cooked onions

The remoulade

  • ¾ cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 tablespoons bottled barbecue sauce
  • to taste cooked onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan.
  2. Mix the ground beef with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form small patties from the beef mixture and flatten slightly.
  4. Drizzle the patties with olive oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. Grill the patties for 3 minutes on one side, then flip and add cheddar cheese on top to melt.
  6. Toast the mini burger buns on the grill for about 2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the sliders by spreading remoulade on the buns, adding the burger patties, and topping with onions and bacon.
