Waldorf Salad
Ingredients
The salad

The dressing

heavy whipping cream or half-and-half, cold

Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine diced apples, sugar, and lemon juice; toss to coat.
- Add diced celery, halved grapes, and chopped nuts to the apple mixture.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the mayonnaise.
- Gently combine the whipped cream mixture with the apple mixture, seasoning with salt to taste.
- Chill the salad for at least 1 hour or overnight before serving.
