Instructions
- Pound the chicken breasts between plastic wrap until they are ¼-½ inch thick.
- Mix flour, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk or water for the egg wash.
- In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg wash, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the breaded chicken cutlets in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and let it drain on a wire rack or paper towel.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon circles before serving.
