Almond Dijon Coated Tilapia

Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 filets Tilapia

The coating

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or butter/olive oil
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Place almond flour in a shallow dish and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper, then spread 1 tbsp. of Dijon mustard on each filet.
  3. Dip the mustard-coated filet into the almond flour, coating both sides and shaking off excess flour.
  4. Heat half of the coconut oil in a non-stick pan and cook the tilapia for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Serve with fresh lemon.
