Almond Crusted Tilapia

Ingredients

The coating

  • ½ cup salted almonds
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard

The fish

  • 2–4 filets tilapia

The cooking fats

  • 1–2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

For serving

  • to taste parmesan cheese, fresh lemon, or sea salt

Instructions

  1. Pulse the almonds and breadcrumbs in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  2. Heat oil and butter in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on both sides of each tilapia filet and coat with the crumb mixture.
  4. Cook the coated tilapia in the frying pan for several minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked.
  5. Serve with parmesan, sea salt, or lemon.
