Ingredients

The fish

  • lbs tilapia fillet

The seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed

The topping

  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • to serve lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. Rinse the tilapia fillets under cold water and pat dry.
  3. Arrange the fillets in a single layer in a baking dish.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the fillets and top with chopped parsley.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
