Baked Tilapia with Lemon Butter

Ingredients

The fish

  • 4 fillets Tilapia (6 oz each)

The sauce

  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 medium Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry and arrange them in a single layer in a baking dish.
  3. Juice and zest half of the lemon, and slice the other half into thin slices.
  4. Melt the butter and stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, and crushed garlic.
  5. Brush the garlic lemon butter over the tilapia fillets and season with salt and pepper, flipping and repeating on the other side.
  6. Arrange lemon slices over the fish.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
