Ingredients

Lemon-Garlic Butter

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Fish

  • 1 ¼ pounds fish fillets
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • to taste freshly cracked black pepper
  • optional parsley, chopped
  • optional lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the fish in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle the lemon-garlic butter over the fish and cover the dish with foil.
  5. Bake for 16 to 18 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Divide into portions, top with lemon slices and parsley if desired, and serve.
