Ingredients

The fish and coating

  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 lb tilapia fillets
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

The sauce

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs honey

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix the flour, salt, and pepper on a plate and dredge the tilapia fillets in the mixture.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3. Cook each piece of tilapia for about 3 minutes on each side until cooked through, then set aside.
  4. 4. In a medium bowl, combine the orange juice, lemon/lime juice, soy sauce, and honey.
  5. 5. Pour the sauce into the pan and heat through.
  6. 6. Add the fish to the pan, cooking for an additional minute while flipping to coat with the sauce.
  7. 7. Transfer the fish to a platter and pour the remaining sauce over it. Serve immediately.
