Pan Fried Whole Tilapia

Ingredients

The fish

  • 1 whole Tilapia, gutted, cleaned and descaled

Quick Marinade

  • ½ lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh dill, chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Mix the marinade ingredients together.
  2. 2. Make 3-4 slits on each side of the fish.
  3. 3. Place the fish in a shallow dish, stuff with dill, and pour marinade over it. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Cook the fish for about 10 minutes on one side, then flip, cover, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve with a side of your choice.
