Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • cup roasted defatted peanut flour
  • cup whey protein powder
  • ¼ cup low carb powdered sugar
  • teaspoon salt
  • 7 tablespoons salted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and position the rack on the bottom.
  2. Spray a glass pie dish with cooking spray.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients in a medium bowl using a whisk.
  4. Add the melted butter and mix until the mixture resembles moist crumbs.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the pie plate and distribute it evenly, pressing it up the sides.
  6. Cover with waxed paper and press down with a flat-bottomed glass.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until it begins to brown.
  8. Let the crust cool completely before filling.
