Ingredients

The dip

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup basil pesto
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, minced

Optional garnishes

  • to taste diced tomatoes
  • to taste fresh basil leaves
  • to taste toasted pine nuts

For serving

  • as needed bread, vegetables, and crackers

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, basil pesto, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and garlic in a medium bowl.
  2. Stir until well blended.
  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
