Pesto Yogurt Dip

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups loosely packed basil leaves
  • 1⅓ cups plain 2% Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup whole buttermilk
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 ounces freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste thinly sliced chives or green onion tops

Instructions

  1. Process garlic and basil in a mini blender or food processor until finely chopped.
  2. Add yogurt, buttermilk, salt, and pepper, and process until combined.
  3. Add cheese and pulse until just combined.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with additional kosher salt, black pepper, and chives or green onions.
