Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a large soup pot.
- Cover completely with water, plus an extra inch.
- Bring to a low simmer on medium heat.
- Cook for 1½ to 2 hours until a rich broth is achieved.
- Cool completely if not using immediately.
- Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze in 2-cup portions.
