Golden Crusted Brussels Sprouts

Instructions
- Wash the brussels sprouts, trim the ends, remove outer leaves, and cut them in half.
- Toss the halved sprouts in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sprouts in the skillet flat side down, sprinkle with salt, cover, and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Check for tenderness; if not tender, cover and cook a few more minutes.
- Uncover, increase heat, and cook until the flat sides are deep brown and caramelized, tossing occasionally.
- Season with more salt, pepper, and dust with cheese or nuts before serving.
