Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

The Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Soak the Brussels sprouts in water for 30 minutes to clean and tenderize them.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  3. Combine salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Cut the Brussels sprouts in half and place them in a medium bowl.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
  6. Add half of the seasoning mixture and mix well, then add the remaining seasoning and mix again.
  7. Place a wire rack over a baking sheet and arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the rack.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes until tender and golden brown.
