Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sweet potato puree
  • ½ cup creamy almond butter
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • cup gluten-free flour mix
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato puree, almond butter, cacao powder, coconut sugar, gluten-free flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until smooth.
  3. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  4. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the edges are dry and the center has puffed up.
  6. Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
